Terms
Last updated 2 November 2026
The short version. Valdro helps you scan, price and keep track of trading cards. Prices and grade checks are estimates from real sales and photos, not guarantees. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time. Your cards and photos stay yours.
Who we are
Valdro is run by Chad, trading as Valdro, 43 Cutlers Walk, Rotherham, S66 1BT. You can reach us at support@valdro.app. In these terms “we” means us and “you” means the person using the account.
What Valdro does
You can photograph cards so the app reads them, look up recent sold prices, keep your collection in a private vault, check whether a card is worth grading, get alerts about cheap listings, and list cards on eBay. Some features need a paid plan, as shown on the Plans page.
Prices and grading checks are estimates
- Values come from sales we can find, mostly on eBay. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and a card can sell for more or less.
- The app reads cards and their condition from your photos using AI. It can misread a card, a player, a print run or a flaw. Check anything important yourself.
- A grading check is a guide to what a grader might give, not a promise of a grade.
- Nothing in the app is financial advice. Decisions to buy, sell or grade are yours.
Your account
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
- An account is for one person. Plans are priced for one collector, so please don’t share a login.
- You must be 13 or over to have an account, and 18 or over to buy a plan.
- Tell us straight away at support@valdro.app if you think someone else has used your account.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the Plans page.
- Pro and Ultimate are monthly subscriptions at the price shown on the Plans page when you subscribe. Prices include any VAT due. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- A subscription renews each month until you cancel. Cancel any time in Manage billing on the Plans page; you keep your plan until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- If you switch between Pro and Ultimate, Stripe charges or credits the difference for the rest of the month.
- AI scans and price searches cost us money each time, so every plan has a fair-use limit, shown on the Plans page. If you reach it, those features pause until the limit resets; everything else keeps working.
- If we change a plan’s price we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Your right to cancel
As a UK consumer you can cancel within 14 days of first subscribing. Use Cancel and refund on the Plans page (or email support@valdro.app): your plan stops straight away and we refund what you paid, less a fair amount for the days you used it. When you subscribe you ask for the plan to start straight away, which is why that amount is kept. Nothing is charged during a free trial, and we remind you the day before a trial turns into a paid plan. This doesn’t affect your other legal rights.
Your cards, photos and data
- What you add (photos, cards, notes, prices you enter) stays yours. You let us store and process it so we can run the app for you.
- Sales you add to a card page by hand (prices from elsewhere, not your own deals) count for your account only.
- When you mark one of your cards sold, or record what you paid for it, that price counts towards the card’s value for all members, unless you turn Price sharing off in Settings. Other members never see the price itself or who it came from. The owner can see it, to run the service.
- Public sold prices we find build the market data everyone sees. Prices members share are used only inside combined figures, such as a card’s value, and are never shown to other members one by one.
- How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.
Listing on eBay
If you connect your eBay account, the app creates listings and handles offers only as you tell it to. You’re the seller: you’re responsible for what you list, describing it accurately, and following eBay’s rules. You can disconnect eBay at any time in Settings.
Links to eBay
Some links to eBay listings are affiliate links: if you buy through one, Valdro may earn a small commission from eBay. It doesn’t change what you pay or which deals the app shows you.
Fair use of the service
Please don’t:
- copy or scrape data from the app in bulk, or use scripts or bots to use it;
- try to get into other people’s accounts or parts of the app you aren’t meant to reach, or interfere with how it runs;
- upload anything unlawful, or photos you don’t have the right to use;
- resell or rebrand the app or its data.
If you do, we may pause or close your account. Where it’s fair to, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Keeping the app running
We work to keep Valdro available and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Some features rely on other services (such as eBay, Stripe and AI providers) and may stop working if those services change or are unavailable. We may change or improve features; if we remove something important from a paid plan, we’ll tell you and you can cancel.
Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t let us limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
- We’re not responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for losses from buying, selling or grading decisions you make using prices or checks in the app.
- Otherwise, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.
Ending your account
You can stop using Valdro at any time. To close your account and delete your data, use Delete my account in Settings (it also cancels any subscription), or email support@valdro.app from the address you sign in with. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or after a long time with no use, telling you first by email.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. If a change matters to you, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Names and trademarks
eBay, PSA, BGS (Beckett), SGC, CGC, Topps, Panini and other names in the app belong to their owners. They’re used only to describe cards and where prices come from. Valdro isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@valdro.app and we’ll try to sort it out.
